Our Journey

Committed to Transforming EEG

CortiCare was founded to simplify EEG monitoring for hospitals and expand access to critical diagnostic services.

Since its founding, the organization has continued to grow its clinical capabilities and expand its service network.

2012

CortiCare awarded the NEOLEV2 drug dosage study to monitor 300 neonatal patients across 5 hospitals over 3 years.

2013

First patient monitoring expansion to 10 hospitals.

2015

Contracts with expert neurophysiologists expand physician EEG reading services. EMU monitoring begins.

2016

Technologist team grows to 30+ EEG technologists. Monitoring services expand nationwide.

2018

CortiCare offers EEG clinical trial services to the U.K. and Canada.

 

2019

CortiCare acquires Physicians Ancillary Services and Premier Diagnostics, expanding to the ambulatory in-home EEG market. 

 

2020

Acquisition of EEG providers in Southern California and Ohio.

2021

Achieves Joint Commission Accreditation and SOC2 Certification solidifying the quality and security for its clients and patients.  

2023

CortiCare is acquired by 1315 Capital, providing a platform for enhanced client solutions and growth. Becomes the largest employer of EEG technologists with over 200 on staff .

2024

CortiCare acquires Arium EEG growing our nationwide network of hospitals and remote technologists.

2025

Achieved half a million hours of annual continuous EEG monitoring.
