Description Summary: The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. This role will partner with managers across the business and collaborate with the HR Director to create programs that align with the goals of the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of employee relationships, training and development, and benefit administration. You must be comfortable with change in a fast paced environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters.
Participate in development of organizational guidelines and procedures.
Investigate complaints brought forward by employees and makes a recommendation of action to the HR Director.
Assists with recruiting and the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, as needed.
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.
